Description
I designed these covers as I have had to replace one or both of these idlers every single year. Snow packs up inside the pulleys during use and then melts. The melt runs straight into the bearings where it sits all summer long rusting up the bearings. The pulleys are fairly inexpensive and simple to replace but these covers are cheaper.
One is solid and fits on the RH pulley. It's made to snap onto the pulley flange like a Tupperware lid. It spins with the pulley. The other has a through hole for mounting to the LH pulley. Pull off the nut and keeper tab, put the cover one and put the tab and nut back on. This one is stationary and the pulley spins inside it.
Printed in Overture TPU with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer heights.
I've attached both the IPT (Inventor/Fusion) and STEP files for these parts.
