Tape Measure Case (IKEA & Silverline)

This is a 3D printable tape measure case for a two 3m tape measures, an IKEA Trixig and Silverline Hiviz 3m. The tape locking mechanism works, see photos.

YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE THE TAPE MEASURE AND USE THE TAPE AND LOCKING STRIP IN THE CURRENT ITERATION OF THIS DESIGN.

The current version (V17 S'Line and V20 IKEA) will need glued together.

I'll be modifying this in coming days/weeks and have the following plans, depending on interest.

• Case dimensions on the outside (complete for S'line)
• Video of how to transfer the tape and locking strip
• Screw closeable version
• Printable locking strip
• Other cases, provided they can be purchased in the UK than have simple mechanisms (IKEA Trixig Added)
• Parametric model with tape and case measurements (not even sure this will be particularly useful!)

This print works well in PETG and likely works in other tough plastic i.e. ABS. I have had success printing with 0.4mm nozzle at 0.16mm layer height. The models should be oriented with the large flat surfaces downwards.
