Description
GoPro mount for backpacks. This particular design is intended to be used with the Molle System, but it should work with any backpack with a 24mm strap.
This version is the Easy Slip in/out. It has a shorter segment than the Tight Slip version. Allowing to easily twister the camera and remove it from the strap. This should allow to mount and dismount on the go without any problems. I was able to do it with a single hand when I was not wearing the backpack. This model grabs well to the strap thanks to the camera weight, as as long as the shaking movement is not twisting the camera/mount clockwise too often.
There are two models Landscape and Portrait that rotate the orientation of the mount. The name is for identification mostly, it takes the mount positioned in the shoulder strap as reference for it.
IMPORTANT:
The thread on the original knob has only 19mm of exposed thread at the end, this model requires at least 22mm to get a proper grip. Sorry for that, I was aiming for sturdiness not a drop-in replacement.
In my case I'm using a M5x30 Hex head bolt tightened with this knob that has a Ruthex M5 brass insert at the end.
Only caution you need to have is with the hexagonal hole for the nut/bolt. If your bridging or supports are not on spot you could have some fitting issues.
