Description
The project is not yet complete, but feedback is welcome.
THE STL IS ONLY PREVIEW, PLEASE USE THE STEP FILES
To assemble the hookah, refer to the product image.
Everything needs to be printed once - Some parts come in different sizes (hose adapter)
To seal the hookah, I intentionally left a small gap at the hose connector and the tube that goes through the base. I used insulation tape for sealing.
If the bayonet lock closes too loosely and the smoke column as well as the water tube wobble slightly, you can slightly scale the spacer's height in the slicer to create slight pressure when closing and provide more stability to the parts. Something like 102% or 98% if something is too tight.
The parts are correctly oriented, and the design allows everything to be printed without support. I was able to print the long tube without a brim, but I recommend using one.
For the upper part of the hookah, you should use PETG, as PLA may soften at high temperatures.
My print time was approximately 3.5 hours for everything on one print bed.
I used this kit for mounting: mozeshisha.de/en/moze-perfect-fit-grommet-set-black/
v2 changes:
longer head adapter, more robust and less wobbly
blowoff lid changed (v1 could get stuck because of water)
bayonet lock revised for better sealing
