Description
A "HOT" band to warn users that an Insinkerator Invite HOT150 hot water dispenser produces very hot water.
This band slips over the spout of an Insinkerator hot water dispenser. The band is intended to be red with white lettering via two color changes during printing: red to white to red.
This should also fit the Insinkerator Invite HOT100 model, since that model also appears to have a 17.8mm diameter spout. I don't know if it would fit any other models or brands.
The provided STL file is intended to be printed in PLA (or PETG).
A PrusaSlicer 3MF file is provided for generic PLA.
A g-code file is provided for the Original Prusa MK4.
The Insinkerator Hot Water Band seen in the photos was printed on an Original Prusa MK4 in FilaCube Red and White PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 15% grid infill and no supports. A brim has been added, though you might not need one.
