Description
These are the LOOP style case panels for BeamCase sandwich and BeamCase SFF.
Instead of multiple panels that are printed in a flat orientation, these are loops that are printed standing up, and come with two different vent patterns, slots and triangles.
These are only case panels and the underlying case structure is available here.
The case panels come in two versions, either with slots or triangles for the vent pattern, both are designed to print without supports. The front is inspired by the Fractal North and can be equipped with wood accents.
The images primarily show the version with IFW100 and IFL300, but the case comes in variations ranging from IFW90 to IFW140 to fit the different BeamCase sandwich versions. There are also different length options of IFL300 and IFL360. These corelate to the length of the aluminum profiles used for the BeamCase SW frame (300mm being default).
(By mixing a front and rear parts of IFL300 and IFL360 you can create a version for 330mm long beams)
IFW = Inner Frame Width; the distance between the frame rails in mm
IFL = Inner Frame Length; the length of the profiles used for the frame in mm
Print instructions:
The loop panels should be printed standing up, and depending on your filament choice you might have to adjust for shrinkage. The files also include smaller version that you can print to test your settings, before you commit to the full size version.
The front panels has multiple STLs in one files, consisting of the base panel and wood accents, you can just print it as one ore separate them for multi color printing, or in case you want to add real wood accents, instead of 3d printed accents.
The front panels clips in to the LOOP case panel by pushing it in from the front, additionally it can be glue for a more secure fit.
