Description

I wanted to power my FPV goggles using a USB-C power bank, however I couldn't get my hands on a decent, compact power trigger. The only one I managed to find outputs 20v and produces an annoying coil whine.

Turns out it's not that hard to build one yourself.

Required parts

  • PD Decoy Module (AliExpress)
  • DC Plug (AliExpress)
  • Wire to connect PD Decoy with DC Plug (I used 24 AWG silicone wire)
  • Epoxy to glue both parts
  • Something to hold both parts while the glue sets (rubber bands work great)
