Customise the top lid the way you want with slicer settings
- Choose Cover_Cover_Top.step file and import in slicert of your choice (I'm using Bambu Labs slicer in example below, UI for Orca Slicer should be similar).
- Select top part in Process / Objects
Adjust slicer settings:
— Wall loops: 0
— Top shell layers: 0
— Bottom shell layers: 0
— Sparse infill density: Up to your liking [1]
— Sparse infill pattern: Of your choice [2]
[1][2] — 16%, Honeycomb worked well for me, just becouse hexagons are bestagons but you do you.
- Slice, check result and Print
— Just in case you do not want to deal with this - there is a pre-designed version for enclosure with hexagonal openings available in files as well.
