Bracket to attach a common coolant mister that's available on amazon to the Carbide 3D nomad3 spindle.
Required Hardware:
- x2 M4x10 socket head cap screws
- x2 M4x30 socket head cap screws
- x2 M4 washers (max ⌀8mm)
- x2 M4 heat set inserts (max length 9.43mm)
Install steps:
- Prepare the bracket
- Install the two M4 heat set inserts from the back of the bracket as shown in picture 3.
- Prepare the mist system by removing blue segments and trim to length the plastic tubes.
- Unscrew the end and remove both the outer brass cap nozzle and the inner brass mixing nozzle.
- Remove the end orange segments by bending the loc-line sideways until the segments pop off.
- Remove the blue segments from the base the same way.
- Trim the larger plastic tube so that it will land about ½ way down the orange threaded end once attached.
- Attach the orange end to the base
- Trim the smaller tube so that it sticks out 1-2mm from the threads when the loc-line is straight.
- Attach the brass mixing nozzle
- Attach the outer brass cap nozzle
- Install bracket to spindle
- Using the M4x10mm and M4 washers attach the bracket to the right side of the spindle
- Attach the mist system to the Bracket
