Cross stitch gauge (ruler)

Ruler with stitch gauge marks for 11, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 25 count fabrics as well as the doubled count values. Each scale has a length of 3 inches and tick marks after 5 and 10 stitches. The size is 228.3mm x 40mm x 1.8mm. Printed with 0.4mm nozzle diameter, 0.15mm layer height (first layer 0.2mm) and color change at 0.8mm (layer 5) for higher contrast.

Hold the gauge to your fabric and match the lines to find the fabric count. Also use it to draw a 10x10 stitch grid onto the fabric. For low counts, as with Aida cross stitch fabric, use every 10th tick mark. For higher counts, as with Evenweave or Linen cross stitch fabric, use every 5th tick mark and double the count value. Please note that not all fabric holes may be correctly aligned with the gauge, e.g. because the fabric has been stretched or contracted during dyeing.
