Description
Spoolholder for the Ikea Skadis board, holding up to diameter 300mm and width 100mm spools easily. Plenty strong for even those bigger spoolsizes.
For me it comfortably mounts behind my Prusa mk2.5, using a spare bit of bowden tube to guide the filament.
Print the backplate with the front down on the printbed, so that the Skadis hooks are printed with a bit of support. Use some M3 screws and nuts (slotted into the arms after print) to mount together. Cut a piece of 8mm steel rod to 120mm length to hold the spool.
I specifically chose a steel rod to hold the spool to reduce friction, but a 3D printed rod will very likely also work.
