MFT GRIDFINITIFICATION

January 9, 2025
Description
Lets face it. You are in no way organized, so you turned to Gridfinity (Shout-out to Zack Freedman. But Oh No! Your flashy new workbench can't handle the awesomeness of that 42x42mm grid. That's where this comes in. you slap one of these on your guide rails, and instantly; BAM! GRIDFINITY! A little more printing later and the edges of your workbenches are covered in beautiful bins and outstanding organizational odes to Zack's massive workshop (if you don't know what I'm yappin' about, click here → ) So now you can keep your callipers, glue sticks, pliers, and solder so near you need to stand to get to that printer. For those wondering about print instructions, do not fret, for I am so many steps ahead of you, I'm going to need a time machine to get back:
Print with supports (sorry) USE TREE SUPPORTS because they are objectively better and because this is a description, you can't argue.
Print with a brim because this thing is flat, big, and likes to curl more than Bruce Mouat.
Use a skirt for added coolness
And finally, use something like 25% infill if you're storing anything heavy, and 15% if not.
Also, POST THOSE MAKES! I love seeing them and it makes my day so much better when I find that someone has actually taken the time, and the filament, to make my middling models on their magnificent model manufacturing machine!
