Description
When restoring a vintage mtb I came across a problem when changing the old bottombracket to a new one: the original plastic cable guide for rear (and front) derailleur wouldn't fit anymore (old screw would come in contact with the newly installed bottom bracket). I thought of this hack, using a 10/15cm shifter cable housing. The 3d printer part fits into the frame's hole and a new (shorter) screw expands the 3d piece into the frame holding the whole part in place. This works surprisingly well and I feel like this solution is even more solid than the original plastic piece.
