SayoDevice E1 Volume Knob Housing

I've always been a fan of programmable knobs, particularly for scrolling on pages and documents. It was difficult to resist clicking the buy button when the algorithm on AliExpress suggested the SayoDevice E1 volume knob. It appears to be sold under both SayoDevice and unbranded names, and appears to be available in different wired and wireless versions. This is specifically designed for the wired/RGB version; however, I have uploaded STEP files should you need to tweak the designs further. 

The overall height has been minimized, while maintaining a gap for the RGB LEDs to shine through. I also added diffusion cones to make the lighting as even as I could. 

Printing Parameters & Materials

• Flat face-sides down
• 2 perimeters with 15% infill (or whatever you prefer)
• Enable supports everywhere for the bridge over the USB socket. The top side does not require any. 
• While this has not been tested with other filaments, this will probably work best with semi-translucent filaments. The model above was printed with GITD PLA. 
• Designed to accommodate the stock screws. I found using the screws to help index the PCB in the bottom of the shell before installing the top half of the shell to be the easiest way to align everything. 
• I found two-sided silicone nano tape works very well for anti-slip feet. Apply a little skin oil to reduce adhesion, and clean with isopropyl alcohol to improve adhesion.

Bonus: This came with zero documentation, and took a little bit of investigation to find out how to reconfigure its functions. HERE is a link to SayoDevice's web configurator. If you happen to know of a different and more convenient way to reconfigure the E1, please let me know!
