Printing Instructions

Because of the design of this model, finer layer heights will result in better quality. We also recommend that if possible, to sand the part, to ensure that the tool gives the smoothest finish on any of your clay projects. The instructions below are only provided as a guide, and can be changed depending on the printer you have.

Because most clay kidneys are made from rubber of other flexible materials, we recommend using flexible materials such as TPU or HIPS. However, if you don't have these materials at your disposal, standard filaments such as PLA or ABS should work fine as well. Just note that using PLA or ABS for this print may result in different surface finishes.
