Bissell ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Pro hose attachment spacer

I have a Bissell ProHeat 2x Revolution Pet Pro Carpet cleaner. I was experiencing water leaks from where the hose attachment connects to the machine. I looked at the hose attachment closely and the red silicone o-rings that seal the water connection were popping out of place 9 times out of 10. Sometimes this would result in leaks.

I sent the machine in for warranty repair and while the leaks were gone (at least temporarily), I noticed that the red o-rings were still routinely popping out of place. I figured that another water leak was only a matter of time.

This spacer prevents the o-rings from dislodging and reduces the likelihood of water leaks from the hose attachment port.
