Description
These are clips for the ProtoArc XK01-TP folding keyboard. The concept would probably work for all of ProtoArc's trifold keyboards, but the length of the arms would probably have to be adjusted. I've included the .step files so you can mod them. If you want my help in adjusting the length or if you want the model files in another format, just send me a message.
The tolerances are very tight, so I suggest you print with 0.1 layer height on a well-tuned printer.
You will need to turn on supports everywhere for the two inner pieces.
You can print the clip files for a flat profile, or clipfeet files if you want an elevated profile.
I printed these with the following settings.
Nozzle 0.4
Layer height 0.1
Hatchbox PLA
Support Everywhere
Orientation flat on their backs.
Update: The new “notched” version has a nicer top surface for the clip and has notches so the 4 parts can snap together when off the keyboard for easy travel.
