Displate Mount / Stabilizer (Fusion 360 Parametric)

A model designed to make the protective leaf with the magnet more secure on the wall or to be used as a base for the Magnet to replace the leaf.

The Support variant secures the leaf on the wall, the mount variant is supposed to have the magnet attached directly to it.

Personally I have my Displates mounted on a angled wall with wallpapers, so the protective leaf doesn't hold too well.

Included STL Files
The parameters used for the included STL files are the ones to be seen in the tutorial picture. The Mount variant has 1mm extra underneath the magnet and the rest.

If you don't have Fusion360 to parametrize the model, just write a comment, i can upload it then.

When setting the parameters, keep in mind that your printer might not have perfect tolerances, so you may have to add a few 1/10 millimeters more or scale the model up.

The cutout for the magnet already has a tolerance of 1mm on each side. If you think you dont need that, you can change that in in user parameters too.

Parametric use - Tutorial

1. Click on “Change” on the toolbar menu.
2. Select “Change parameters”
3. Change the user parameters like you need them.
   
   The first three parameters are self explaining, but the “ExtraDistance” may needs a little explanation:
   0 = only support for the magnet on the protective leaf, >0 = magnet on top of the printed part so you don't need the leaf at all.
