Introducing String Sling. The affordable string shooter designed for 3D printing.
Printing :
- Regular settings
- No supports unless explicitly mentioned
V2 (AA battery powered)
- Orient the electronics cover upside down and use supports
- Orient the battery cover also upside down
- All the rest of the models are correctly oriented already
V3 (Supercapacitor powered)
- All models are already in their optimal printing position
Supplies
For V2 (AA battery powered)
- 2 regular hobby motors
- electrical cables
- springsteel wire / springsteel sheet
- 2 AA batteries
- aluminum/copper foil
- switch
- string
- hot glue
For V3 (Supercapacitor powered
- 2 regular hobby motors
- electrical cables
- 2.7V 500F Supercapacitor
- spring steel sheet (I got mine from and old phone)
- 2 terminal jst/dupont connector (jst is best)
- 3V Solar panel
- diode with a voltage drop of around 0.5V (you may connect two 0.25V voltage drop diodes in series as well)
- switch
- string
- hot glue
