Pizza peel bevel table saw jig

I didn't like the way my hands would need to be over the blade in these pizza-peel instructions from Woodcraft.

So instead I designed this jig so I could make the same cut using a jig guided in the miter slots.

Assembly instructions:

1. Get a piece of your favorite miter-slot runner. I like using https://www.printables.com/model/313692-miter-slot-runner-customizable.
2. Attach it to the bottom of a piece of plywood/mdf/whatever you like to make jigs out of. The angle doesn't need to be perfect, because we're just going to cut it flush in the next step.
3. Run the plywood through the saw so you have the exact right offset from your miter slots.
4. Attach this model such that the front edge of the 3/32 lip is exactly flush with the newly-cut edge of your plywood. You need at least two, mirrored left and right, but you can use as many as you need for stability.

Now you can rest your peel on the lip, clamp it to the uprights of the jig, and push it through the saw from the miter slot instead of perching your hands over the blade.
