Description

Fits Cetax ASX-560 auto samplers

Version 1.0 (2nd September, 2024) UNTESTED PRINT

Designed to be be printed at 45 degrees on an Ender3 bed (220x220x240). Print file with curved base on the print bed (see pic).ETA with a 0.4 mm nozzle @0.28 mm layer height = 1day 11h 36mins (or there abouts). Using an 0.8 mm nozzle is likely much faster for this. However, you will loose tube text details.

Design with inbuilt support, none needed in slicing.

Two versions:

V1.0:  First version of the model, no supports. It has no feet for clipping in the ASX-560 (or similar). Only good for tube storage, not analsyis For printing on large beds. Dimensions = 105x247x63.5 mm. Probably best to print this vertically to minimize supports needed.

V5.0: Later version of the model with inbuilt optimal support for 45 degree printing on a small bed (220x220x240 mm). Has feet for putting into the ASX-560 for analsysis.

Note: Versions 2,3,4 were all had their issues so are not provided here.

Print settings:

  • Print with larger nozzle size (0.8 mm) for additional strength
  • Supports required  for V1 model
  • NO supports needed on V5 model

Post-Printing

Snap off inbuilt supports after print, may need a quick sand too clean up before use.
