Description
As someone from a place with a huge amount of Inuk artists that make beautiful soapstone, marble and labradorite carvings, I figured I'd blend my love of printing with a little taste of my homeland. This is modeled after some of the beautifully and expertly carved large old inuksuit you can see in the Torngat mountains and North Shore of Labrador Canada.
Inuksuit (inukshuk) are guiding lights to any lost or traveling hunter, gatherer or simple explorers in the Inuit regions of home. They're more than just a garden or mantel decoration and have been used for generations to guide people back home.
PS: The make I uploaded was printed with my 0.6mm nozzle. Higher detail is definitely possible with a finer layer height and nozzle.
