Guitar Foot Stool Cover/Protector

This is a cover for a guitar foot rest/foot stool that can slide onto the top of the stool to protect your furniture. I found that, while using foot stools, they sometimes would leave dents when they hit wood furniture, so I created a simple model to keep that from happening.

This should fit on most foot rests with flat tops, although I have only tested it on the one pictured. Since I currently do not have a stool with a curved top, I can't make a model for that, so sorry for those who own that type!

Printing

I have provided two different files for different filament types; if you use a hard filament like PLA, PETG, or ABS, print the “Normal” version, and if you use TPU, print the “Flexible” version. The flexible version has a slightly smaller tolerance (0.2mm smaller), allowing for a better fit on the foot stool.

If you use a hard filament, I would recommend to glue a piece of felt on the front to further keep it from denting things. If you use TPU this isn't a problem, and, if you have it, I would recommend printing with that.

I printed my versions with Inland Translucent Red 95A TPU and Inland Orange PETG+, with 3 walls and 20% infill. This model should be perfectly fine with less walls and infill, though!
