Simple and Strong cat sisal pole bracket.

A simple sturdy bracket to hold cat-scratching poles to a strong wall.

After trashing a couple of old cat trees I found some of the 80mm diameter scratching poles were still in good condition; so I decided to put them to good use on my balcony.

The main brackets are single sided and beefy for top and bottom support, the spacers can support and stabilise between pole pieces. Use appropriate bolts and washers top and bottom, and threaded rod pieces between poles and with the spacer.

Two versions provided, for 8mm or 10mm central bolts; these seem to be common sizes and both were used in the poles I have. There is some adjustment possible in the mounting holes. I added this after printing since it was a fiddle for me to get the final alignment after drilling in masonry.I also increased the angular resolution on the uploaded files so that the curves look cleaner.

Print with plenty of infill, fit with big screws and do a strong job! - your pets safety is your responsibility..

I wrapped spare string around the top bracket, for purchase but also to hide the bright purple(ish) PLA I used.
