Description
I needed a way to mount a Pi Cam module in my Micron printer that was simple and didn't require a complex mechanical bracket. This printer uses 1515 profile extrusions and has very limited space to put a camera in. This magnetic mount was the solution.
You will need 4 6x3mm magnets. Make sure the polarity matches the 4 magnets in the camera housing.
Note: Aaron's 2-part camera housing has no clips or screw holes for assembly, the halves needs to be glued together after inserting an already connected camera. I used hot glue for this to make it easy to re-open if needed.
