Description
The foot of my scale broke and I designed a replacement to repair it. The part was printed in PLA with 0.2 mm layer height and it works great. The part is fixed with the original screw and includes a guide to reuse the original foam pad.
Instructions:
- To remove the broken foot, first carefully remove the foam patch on the broken foot. I used a screwdriver to carefully lift a corner.
- With the foam pad removed, the single screw holding the foot in place can be removed.
- Swap the broken foot with the printed replacement.
- Fasten the foot with the original screw.
- Replace the adhesive foam pad using the circular marking as a guide.
The print files are provided in .step and .stl format.
The part was designed by me using Onshape. If you want to modify the design, you can access the whole project here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/1c545bf15ae8b52d5648877c/w/ee3808912d348804148fcb54/e/835e643f2f484cdd2b54153f
