Description
I designed the enclosure after watching a video from 3D Printing Ideas showing tests with a filament box.
The brackets inside are for two 40 mm fans tilted by 5° to circulate air around the top of the silica gel and move the moisture in the enclosure, like natural wind action outdoor.
I also tweaked the model to make a bracket that can be used with a cardboard box for filament (remove the lid and cut a 25 by 200 mm slot at the bottom of the box).
You can use a power bank or a cable adapter to use your part cooling line on your extruder if you have a connector available.
My test was with a bed temp set to 70 °C (more like 65 °C on the bed surface) for around 40 minutes. The beads were at room temp and humidity for more than 3 weeks (around 55 % relative humidity) and with indicators dark green, almost black.
