Nest Hub Switch Plate Mount

Needed a solution for decluttering the kitchen counter. Had an empty/blank switch plate from an old landline phone jack.

This design replaces the blank switch plate with a tray to hold the Google Nest Hub. The tray is at a slight angle which causes the screen to be more visible at this height. The Nest Hub doesn't slide off the tray if the grip surface on the bottom is clean.

Not recommended to install on a box that isn't empty or contains mains voltage wires.
