Description
I’m always frustrated about having to use a silicone tube of RTV or another product, and the only thing it comes with is the sacrificial tapered tube, with no proper way to cap it after use. The hardened silicone is easy to remove from the tapered tube, but the material usually hardens right inside, making it impossible to squeeze out. They don’t provide a cap because they want you to buy more.
Well, here’s the solution: a small cap with a countersunk profile to seal nicely at the end of the tube, with an M12 - 1.25 thread for easy application and removal. Save your money; keep that tube ready for the next job!
I made mine in PETG, but it probably isn’t worth a filament change. Just print it with what is loaded.
It might even fit on your toothpaste tube! :-)
