Texture Tool (for Pottery)

A pottery tool for use on freshly thrown ceramics.  

To use, print one or more paddles, attach to the handle with the printed pin.  The friction fitting is usually good enough, but glue may be required.  

To use:  Throw a nice pot.  While still on the wheel, spin at your desired speed.  Gently apply the paddle to the side of the pottery, so that it spins freely.  After several rotations, a pleasing repeating texture will emerge.  The speed of the wheel and pressure you apply can cause dramatically different results, so experiment!  

Works great with glazes that break different colors.
