Description

This is a sword design based on a few of my favorite BotW swords. I designed it myself and had a blast painting it. It was a gift for my best friend, and they loved it! It's one of my favorite examples of my design abilities!
If I made it again, I would spend a decent amount of time sanding it, as now it's a bit rough. However, adding glow-in-the-dark paint more than makes up for that fact.

The interior of the sword is held together with two ~11mm square pieces of wood. The first piece is 45cm long and the second piece is 55cm long. See the dimensioned drawing if you're curious.
Simply slide the parts together over the wooden dowels and glue them into place. I used a water-activated glue for this but any glue should work. Once you've done that add wood filler and sand until the sword is smooth. Then you can prime and paint away!

If you don't have the money to spend on this model please look at my profile for a couple of other free (and open-source) swords I have designed.

If you'd like to have one of these swords made (and or painted) by me please reach out to me via email ([email protected]) or my website.

Thanks for checking this model out and happy printing!
