tool box grid organizer

this is my take on tool grid a modular tool storage system for drawers and tool boxes. there are companies that make these but they charge an arm and a leg for the panels. 1 drawer in my box would have cost me over $380 just in panels but after designing my own it was only $50 in material. 

for sockets i did just buy the tool grid ones as they are very cheapo for a bag of 25.

how to print 

each one is 6in x 6in and they interlock with one and other. once you measure out the drawer it is going in you can import this file into blender and cut the edges down to whatever size needed to fit snuggly in your specific area 

print the holders standing on end with supports on it helps stiffen the dowels and keep them rigid. 

i used asa and pla. with pla i added 2 extra perimeters 

4 walls (6 for pla)

.2 layer height

25% infill

no supports for panels 

supports for holders
