Description
Benchtop mounted clay extruder. Insert the die of the desired shape, place the clay into the cylinder and press down with the plunger. Works best on softer clays, and the clay may need some wetting down to work. The smaller the die shape, the more pressure it'll take.
Best mounted on a lower table if possible as that allows you to press down better.
Print the base and plunger with 4 walls, 50% infill. The base needs to be printed with supports. Could possibly get away with less but haven't been tested. I made the model pretty thick to withstand the strain the base plus extruder takes about 300g of filament.
The only other hardware you'll need are 4 screws to mount the base.
More details are contained in the pdf.
Hope this helps you in your pottery and would love to see what you make with it!
