Description
Simple clip for a barrina grow light that uses 10x3mm magnets to mount onto a metal surface.
I used these magnets from amazon (no ref code), and they measured 10mm x 2.65mm actual, so I modeled it with a 10.2x2.7mm hole in the model. With a 0.20mm layer height, it means that I set a pause after layer 88, which allows me to insert the magnets and resume the print. (included gcode for my prusa mk4s)
STEP files included to allow for easier remixing/changing.
This is a tight fit on the lights, which is intentional as it allows it to be used in multiple orientations without sliding on the light.
As a result, PETG is a preferred filament due to the heat resistance, along with the slight flex when clipping it onto the light.
Print settings
Prusa Mk4s
0.4mm CHT nozzle
PETG Black
2 magnets 10x3mm
Brim (to keep the part from getting knocked over when inserting the magnet)
