Description
Elegoo Orangestorm Giga Enclosure. I printed everything out of PETG material. I used 3/16 dowel pins 1.750 length for connecting the door frames together. I ream the holes out. There is holes in the top frame for dowel pins also but I never pin the frame together. I used ¼ thick polycarbonate on the top and doors. The side I used 1/8 thick polycarbonate. The door frames you need to print them on there sides, if you print them laying down they will warp. When you cut your polycarbonate for the doors or sides make sure your printer is leveled cause these printers do flex a lot. I used the allen bolts that came with the printer to mount the door frames and the quik latch brackets. M4 flat head screws and lock nuts for the hinges. I used Ruthex thread serts for the handles M5 inserts and M4 inserts for the tablet mount on the frame and light bar brackets. Also I used 1/16 thick aluminum flat bar to put behind the door hinges and handles. Reason I did the door frames like I did cause I didn’t want to drill holes into the frame for the door hinges. It looks more cleaner this way just my opinion lol.
I used M12 Cut Off Wheel and Dremel Cut Off tool to cut the polycarbonate panels. I don’t have measurements for that.
