La Bicha de Balazote is an impressive sculpture dated to the 6th century BCE, associated with a necropolis of pre-roman iberians.
The figure depicted is a bull with a human head, allegedly a kind of greek river god with some phenician influence, which iberians seem to have adopted as some kind of underworld guardian.
