Description
A neat low profile switchable XT60 Makita battery mount.
I printed mine in 100% infill ASA because my parts go through extreme outdoor/offroading abuse. And being able to drill and tap it in random miscellaneous scenarios is nice.
Credit to https://grabcad.com/library/makita-lxt-18v-battery-mount-v4-1 for providing the base design. I modified it a little bit though (basically removed the little lip at the end) because makita batteries werent able to slide all the way back.
A nice little feature is that the bolt holes are all symmetrical (and also btw require the same M3 bolt length - I forget what length but just buy an m3 assortment kit and figure it out lol) meaning you can have the switch and xt60 in whatever orientation you want.
Also, to save all you remixers of the internet torture and misery, instead of providing just the .stl, I've also provided .step files. Why? Because I am a merciful god.
