Takara Tomy (Thomas and Friends)

I had a Takara Tomy Thomas train set, Authors Edition (Britt Allcroft 1999), i got another set ot takara tomy train set but not Thomas ones(Shinkansen bullet train set). unfortunately the bullet train had a one missing chassis and was not used due to not having full set, I thought to modify the left 2 coaches to match with thomas train set, so I modelled a remix “troublesome trucks” to extend the branchline and 3D printing it!

now it's long and looks matching with the  original train set and kept it in Showcase 

Printer setting (Cura Slicer): 

Extrusion width (overall): 0.4 ("Super quality" print option)

Perimeter generator: skirt

Change the print orientation to flat sides.

Notes:

After Printing, sand down the edges little bit to have seamless joint when assembled and superglue it when holding the position!. I made it this way to save materials on supports and print time, once assembled it looks sharp and clean

There are two different modified coaches naming C1 and C2

“C1 Front” is same for both coaches

“Base plates” the flat side is a bit thin to save on material and print time, I recommend to add a piece of cardboard or foam board to thicken up just enough to be stiff!
