Description
Quick little Removable Link block.
Uses hexagon spacers to stand-off from the top panel, the fastening screws can also be used to hold a link cover on.
Update 30/01/25
I have included a link cover, and there is now a drill template to use for creating the necessary holes, this should enable quick and easy fitting with a hand drill. It uses a 5.5mm drill and a 12mm drill, but there is no reason why it cant be made by other means.
The XT60E-F connector uses its own screws to fasten into the block, and the male and female XT60's are retained by the solder joint and whatever you use to pot them in place.
The input and output terminals are arranged so they can be hard soldered to the link block, this means you only need 1 piece of wire to run from negative to negative. It might be worth measuring and soldering this together before assembly. Once all soldered together I use epoxy or hot glue to fill the space depending how lazy I am to insulate and protect the joints.
