Spiderbeam HD 12m Pole Mount

This adapter allows the bottom tube of a Spiderbeam HD 12m fiberglass mast, which has an outer diameter of 55mm, to be attached to a 42mm steel mast.

When you mount two or more of these adapters, they automatically align with the two masts, resulting in a perfectly straight assembly. A total of four stainless steel hose clamps are required per adapter: two to attach the adapter to the steel mast and two more to prevent it from moving up or down. A rubber strip should be placed under the latter to prevent damage to the fiberglass mast. This can easily be done by cutting a bicycle tube into appropriately long strips.

I printed the adapters in PETG with an infill of 40%. Only time will tell whether this was a good idea.
