(LED) Slime Ceiling Trim

The walls ooze with slime! 

I was inspired by HouseFlipper and brought to life the Slime (Salek) Ceiling Trim! This model is 107 inches long (approx, 9 feet) broken into 14 parts. This is designed for a standard 4mm LED strip to slide through the channels. 

 

This design is NOT modular but can be repeated and will require either slicing on whatever file number will be the end point to your wall. This was hung up with “Mega strong” 3M mounting tape on each joint of the connection.  

My mistake was that I did not make the walls thick enough so the LED is not diffused properly. To mitigate this I'd recommend going with 5+ top and bottom walls and a lighter 8% infill. 

I HIGHLY recommend a deburring tool and swiping out the joint connections a few times as the tolerance to fit is extremely tight.

This trim took less than one spool of filament and approximately 13 hours to print.
