Description
Be the talk of the party this Super Bowl with these KC novelty glasses
Can be printed monocolor but best done multicolor with 2 standout colors and clear or white for interconnects. The KC modifier look super great in Silk/Metallic Gold as seen in the images.
The raw model should be loaded as a single object with 5 parts, the two parts with “Mod” in the name should be set (Change Type) to modifier.
Set “Frame” to the color for the outside frame
Set “K” and “C” to clear or white
Set “K Mod” and “C Mod” to the contrast color for the letters
Example Gold Letters on Black frames (light blue color is clear)
Looks great with Gold (letters) on Red (frames), Gold on Black, Red on White and White on Red
Added extra bling with striped arms, see the Striped Arms PROJECT files.
If you have lifting issues on the arms use the “Helper Disc” PROJECT files for the Arms.
ASSEMBLY: Use a short length of filament to attach the arms to the frame. It can be easier to insert if you heat and stretch out the end of a length of filament as shown.
Insert through the hinge and pull all the way to the far end, use mini needle nose pliers if needed. You can use a lighter to melt a head/knob on the end.
Trim excess and enjoy.
I used back on white in this example to enhance visibility in these photos. I normally use a matching color or clear.
