Fly Fishing Reel

Here is a fly fishing reel I designed to be relativly easy to print and serve as both a reel of ice fishing and fly fishing.

This design allows for bearing preload control with adjustment being on the opposite side of the crank handle.

As of now this is a Right-hand model but the frame can be mirrored to make it a left hand model.

I must disclose that I know very little about fly fishing.

Printing Parameters

Given that you'll be fighting a fish with this tool, it is nesisarry that the reel is strong enough to resist those forces.

Recommended material is ABS or any equliviant material that does not suffer from stress creep.

4 walls with 40% infill (gyroid), 4 top and bottom layers. 

Reject warped parts and poor overhangs.

Orient the parts appropiatly in your slicer of choice.
