Description

This is a remix of the original project Particulates Sensor Case https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2775946. a very nice frame for luftdaten.info / sensor.community particulates sensor, based on OBO Bettermann T60 junction box.

In my previous remix https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4337435, I addressed the airflow issue, but the temperature readings remain too high due to the fact that DHT22 sensor is placed inside of the box. The only working way in order to get accurate temperature measurements is to place the DHT22 sensor outside of the box.

By adding this additional part to the original project it is improved the fresh airflow to the sensor and allows you to place the dht22 sensor outside of the OBO Bettermann T60 junction box in order to get accurate temperature readings.

A similar approach can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3841481, but I preferred to stick to the original project and a like more OBO Bettermann T60 junction box than the Hensel DK0400G, which is also more expensive than T60.

  • Please note that the tolerance/the gap between this part and the other original components is only 0.10mm. The components will fit very tight and it may be difficult to take it out.
  • As for the DHT22 sensor's box, you can use https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4360466 a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1520129 or other similar cases. Of course, this is not meant to be placed in direct rainfall! If you have any thoughts, hit the comments link above.
