Description
This Heart Bracelet makes the perfect home-made gift for your special Valentine! Â Choose from one of the 9 provided lengths and print the bracelet in two colors through a simple filament color change during printing. Â The clasp attaches and detaches easily - yet provides a strong hold. Â Just push the clasp ends together to attach your Heart Bracelet and squeeze the sides of the clasp to detach it.
A pause for color change at layer 5 (1.0mm z height) during printing allows a contrasting color (such as pink) for the top of the bracelet (the hearts) while the band is a different color (such as white).
The provided sizes are:
8 hearts - 162mm (about 6.4 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet8-5c"
9 hearts - 180mm (about 7.1 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet9-5c"
10 hearts - 198mm (about 7.8 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet10-5c"
11 hearts - 216mm (about 8.5 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet11-5c"
12 hearts - 234mm (about 9.2 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet12-5c"
13 hearts - 252mm (about 9.9 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet13-5c"
14 hearts - 270mm (about 10.6 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet14-5c"
15 hearts - 288mm (about 11.3 inches) long - filename starts with "heartBracelet15-5c"

After printing your Heart Bracelet, push the clasps together and (if necessary) apply a slight bend to the band between each heart and next to each clasp to help the bracelet form a circular shape.  The following photo shows a Heart Bracelet after this has been done…

The provided STL files can be printed in PETG or PLA and do not require supports.
The larger Heart Bracelet lengths may need to be angled on your printer bed to fit (a 40 degree rotation works for the 13 hearts and above Heart Bracelets on my Prusa MK4). Â If you have a "Mini" printer, the larger Heart Bracelets will not fit on your printer bed.
PrusaSlicer 3MF files have been provided for PETG.
G-code files have been provided for PETG for the Original Prusa MK4.
Use a string or a flexible sewing tape to measure the bracelet recipient's wrist (or ankle) circumference and then choose the next longer one from among the provided Heart Bracelets.
If you need a different size than what I've provided, simply scale the bracelet in your Slicer. Â Note that you may want to adjust the color change layer if you use your Slicer to change the scale!
The Heart Link Bracelets seen in the photos were printed on an Original Prusa MK4 with Sunlu White PETG + Sunlu Pink/Red/Transparent Red/Transparent Yellow PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height with a 25% concentric infill and concentric top layer.
