Description
I love my Lansky sharpener set, but I hate having to pry out each part from their provided case and assemble each stone every time I want to use it. Besides, the factory case doesn't provide a place for other accessories such as their C-clamp holder. This solution allows me to keep the handles and rods assembled, and organized. The model started with “Whity's” wonderful Parametric Box and provides a place for 6 stones (the basic 5-stone set, plus a custom stropping handle). 10x3 Magnets are used to secure a screwdriver bit and handle for clamping the knife. The extra screw, which Lansky provides is kept in one of two mounting posts. There's room for the standard Lansky oil bottle and other items such as a small stick of rouge. The C-clamp is secured to the inside of the lid using a pair of toggles. The toggles are held in place with a pair of M2 screws and heat inserts. Please note that Lansky has produced various knife holders over the years. The bent leg portion of mine is 2mm thick, and I have provided a 3mm slot for it to fit into. You'll want to check that yours will fit. The model requires no supports, and just fits my Bambu X1C's 256mm build plate.
