Behringer UMC204HD Desk Mount

Ah, the tangled web of the audio interface! We've all been there, wrestling with cables like some sort of octopus in a tech-induced wrestling match. It's a constant battle between a clean workspace and the siren call of sweet, sweet audio. This under-desk mount for the Behringer UMC204HD is my humble offering to the gods of organization, a tiny beacon of hope in the swirling chaos of wires and knobs.

This nifty little mount is designed to keep your UMC204HD tucked away but still within easy reach. No more desk acrobatics just to adjust the input gain! Plus, because we all know headphones and cables are the ninjas of desk clutter, I've included optional dual hooks. Hang your cans, coil your cables, and reclaim your desk from the tyranny of tangled tech.

Bill of materials:

• 240g (approx.) of filament (I used PLA)
   
• 4-6 #8 wood screws with a flat head (length as needed for mounting surface)

Printing:

Really easy print. Just print the files in the orientation provided. 

• Layer height: .20 mm
• Infill: 15%

Assembly:

• Position the Mount: Place the main body of the under-desk mount against the underside of your desk where you want it located.
   
• Secure the Mount: Using 4-6 #8 screws, attach the main body firmly to the desk. Make sure not to over tighten.
   
• Insert the Interface: Slide your Behringer UMC204HD audio interface into the mount from the open back.
   
• Attach the Hook Adapter (Optional): If desired, slide the dual hook adapter into the dovetail slot.
   
• Attach the Back Cover: Slide the back cover into place.  Using the 3D-printed screws, attach the back cover to the side of the mount.  Note: You may need to apply slight downward pressure to the side during this step. This will be addressed in future revisions.
   
• Reconnect and Enjoy: Plug all necessary cables back into your audio interface. Enjoy your newly decluttered workspace!
