Description
I purchased some BarkBuster plastics for my motorbike handlebars a year or two ago and noticed that they only supplied clamps for one of the two mounting points (each). I had a slow weekend recently and copied the original clamps in onshape and printed up extra clamps for securing the plastics to the BarkBuster bars.
They're a very quick print. I dd mine in ASA (because that's what I had on my printer at the time and I'm exceedingly lazy). PETG would also work just as well. I'd suggest steering clear (no pun intended) of PLA as it'd be a bit brittle.
I used three perimeters and 100% rectilinear infill. They are a very small and very quick print.
You'll need a couple of extra mounting screws to match the originals - from memory they were 8G x 12mm
The attached pics show the (black injection moulded) original part and my red supplementary parts. Mine are way cooler IMHO ;-)
