Description

This model stores 60 LTT Ratching Screwdriver bits, or 5 sets of 12 LTT Screwdriver bit sets, along with the Screwdriver Shaft Extension. All bits are held down with small magnets and the shaft extension has a special holder that prevents it from popping out when turned upside-down and makes it easier to remove from the holder. The holder has 2 groves on the bottom to connect to Gridfinity mounts (2 required per holder), which takes 2x3 slots.

The model is designed for the shorter bits of the LTT Screwdriver. The cover will most likely not be flush with taller bits, and the last row of bits might overhang.

Besides the bits and shaft extension, the only required item is (up to) 92 5x2mm magnets excluding the Gridfinity mount.

  • 60 magnets are used for the bits.
  • 4 magnets for the shaft extension.
  • 16 magnets between the inner and outer bit holder parts. (Or use glue)
  • 12 magnets between the outer bit holder and cover.
  • Between 0 and 16 for the Gridfinity mounts. (Use 6x2mm magnets for this.)

All magnets should press fit into place with no clue required, except for the Gridfinity bases. The Gridfinity bases will require glue to stay in place.

For at least the bit holder, a temperature-resistant filament, like PETG or ASA, is recommended to avoid warping when transported (ex: a hot car), but PLA should work just fine. The Gridfinity mounts can be PLA since it is less likely to be transported. The model was tested with the "0.2mm STRUCTURAL" settings using “Generic PETG” for Hatchbox PETG on a Prusa MK4. The Gridfinity mounts were printed with Hatchbox PLA, but will work with filaments like PETG as well.
