Description
Wiha electric slimBits are slightly smaller than standard ¼" (6.35mm) bits and therefore can't be used in these standard bit holders without the risk of damaging the slimBit shaft.
Wiha slimBit's hexagon size is 6.0mm. I've created this adapter to be able to use slimBits in a small electric screwdriver with a ¼" socket.
I've added 2 versions, one with the exact 6.0mm slimBit hexagon size and one a tiny bit larger with 6.2mm which I needed to use on my printer to make them fit.
You'll need to print them laying flat because printing them straight up from the build plate reduces strength considerably. I've printed them with supports (from build plate only). When you make sure the one side of the male ¼" hexagon is orientated flat to the build plate, there will be no straight overhang at the female slimBit part.
